It is recommended for coach to give zig-zag run exercise to their soccer players to increase their agility. The result showed that zig-zag run exercise effective on increasing agility in the soccer players of SMP Negeri 11 Makassar. This research was conducted for 2 months, August - September 2018. The instrument used in this study was Illinois Agility Run. Determination of the sample based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique with a sample of 40 people divided into 2 groups, 20 people in the treatment group and 20 people in the control group. The study population was all football players at SMP Negeri 11 Makassar. The type of research used is Quasy-experimental by using pretest posttest two-group design with independent variables is zig-zag run exercise and the dependent variable is agility. This study aimed to determine the effect of zig-zag run exercise on increasing agility in the soccer players of SMP Negeri 11 Makassar.
